Support TyingPoint
TyingPoint is ad-light and runs on a small paid product plus reader support. Chipping in $5 or more helps cover hosting and the time it takes to research each knot and draw its artwork from scratch rather than reuse an existing one.
Every knot page carries a genuinely researched history, step-by-step tying instructions and an honest strength note rather than a copy-pasted fact sheet. 99 of the 100 knots now carry an original three-dimensional model you can rotate, built from real rope geometry and checked by machine against the crossings, clearances and threading each knot actually requires. Nine models were rejected by those checks during the build and rebuilt before shipping, because a diagram that looks confident and shows a knot you cannot actually tie is worse than none at all on a site people use for life-safety knots. That takes real, ongoing time to keep accurate as knots get added and existing pages get corrected. A donation isn’t required to use anything on the site — every knot, task hub, activity hub, comparison, and free tool stays fully open regardless — it's simply a way to help keep it that way.
